IC Realtime's eyeball dome cameras have been our most
popular camera design and a favorite with our integrators for years. Our new
IRW3 version of IPMX-E40F combines a 4MP QHD Starlight video sensor and
built-in audio mic with our latest cutting-edge iMD 2.0 AI & metadata
detection, all in an eyeball dome’s easy installation, flexible aiming, and
low-profile design.
NEW AI FEATURES, SAME GREAT DESIGN
Outside, the IRW3 version of this Max Series E40F camera
stays a compact 4.1" round and less than 3.7" high. Its sealed metal
“cam ball” continues to bring IP67 weather resistance. But inside, IC
Realtime’s next-generation of FlexSmartAi detection features have been
added. Our new AI-enhanced Intelligent Motion Detection (iMD 2.0) lets
the E40F add a new stream beyond the camera’s incredible video feed. The camera
now discerns & streams frame-by-frame image metadata. When recorded by an
IC Realtime AI NVR equipped with our "select & click"
multi-channel Object Search, this metadata lets the NVR find your selection on
every channel equipped with an IC Realtime's iMD 2.0 AI camera.
COMPACT CAMERA WITH BIG SPECS
Inside iPMX-E40F’S weatherproof cam ball, and behind its
102°H x 54°V FOV lens, our latest 4MP QHD Starlight video chipset streams color
down to .005 lux, backed up by 164 ft. of SmartIRs for sharp grayscale night
vision. The camera’s AI & metadata capabilities extend beyond video
detection because E40F's sensitive built-in microphone is not just for audio
recording; it can be used as an audio trigger for intrusion alerts. And the
E40F can be powered by 12VDC where 7.9 watts of PoE power is unavailable. There
are even color-matched, screwdriver-fit junction boxes, a “porchlight-style”
wall mount, and base adapter plate options for faster & cleaner
installations.
LEGENDARY VIDEO QUALITY & CAPABILITIES
This camera’s extreme clarity always delivers frame-by-frame
video excellence thanks to E40F's FlexSmartAi video management suite. It
combines 120db of WDR with Smart IR & Starlight technology for perfect
light balance from full daylight down to complete darkness with built-in Smart
IR illuminators. The IRW3 version adds AI Scene Self-Adaptation. AI SSA uses
deep learning algorithms that adapt for the best possible video streams in
rain, fog, backlight, low light, or where lighting conditions are constantly
changing. The AI scans each frame and automatically adjusts parameters. It's
like having a camera tech on site 24/7 - every stream is automatically at max
clarity.
AN AI CAMERA BUILT FOR INTEGRATION
IPMX-E40F also has 3 output streams with widely customizable
resolution, frame rate, and compression output settings. The camera is among
our most adaptable with ONVIF Profile S, G & T, P2P, and CGI compatibility
so it works with virtually all VMS systems and 3rd party recorders. When used
with an IC Realtime AI NVR, the camera can engage a Smart or AI H.264/265
scene-adaptive compression scheme for maximum streaming speeds & maximum
NVR storage capacity, and it has an internal 256 GB SD card slot for local
recording or ANR buffering.

Starlight Technology
Featuring Starlight Technology, this camera is ideal for
applications with challenging lighting conditions. Its low-light
performance delivers usable video with minimal ambient light.
Even in extreme low-light conditions, Starlight Technology is
capable of delivering color images in near complete darkness
(0.005 lux).
iMD 2.0 (Intelligent Motion Detect)
The AI Machine Learning algorithms in our Intelligent Motion
Detection (iMD) recorders & cameras means detection gets more
accurate over time. Now, iMD 2.0 provides even better recognition,
even fewer false alerts, and it encodes detection metadata in
every video frame right from installation. This enables our new
Object Search system to quickly locate recorded clips matching
your search parameters.
Perimeter Protection
IC Realtime’s Perimeter Protection features significantly
improve detection accuracy. The benefits of Perimeter
Protection include up to a 90% reduction in false alarms.
Other advantages include a decrease in pixel count
requirement for object detection, which translates into more
efficiency with less strain on the system. Perimeter Protection
options let you customize tripwires based on the object type
and allow intelligent automation within a limited area of
access such as pedestrian or vehicle-only zones. The
combination of advanced AI analytics and real-time alerts
maximizes efficiency & balance of the total systems capacity
and resources resulting in greater surveillance system
efficiency.
Protection (IP67, wide voltage)
Subjected and certified to rigorous dust and water immersion
tests, the IP67 rating makes it suitable for demanding outdoor
applications. For environments with rain, sleet, snow and fog, an
integrated wiper provides users with clear visibility at all
times.Wide voltage: The camera allows ±30% input voltage
tolerance (wide voltage range), and it is widely applied to outdoor
environment with unstable voltage.
Smart H.265+
Deliver high quality video without straining the network, Smart
H.265+ is the optimized implementation of H.265. The Smart
H.265+ encoding technology includes a scene adaptive encoding
strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame
reference structure and intelligent noise reduction, providing
saving of up to 70% of bandwidth and storage when compared
with standard H.265.
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
The camera achieves vivid images, even in the most intense
contrast lighting conditions, using industry-leading wide dynamic
range (WDR) technology. For applications with both bright and
low lighting conditions that change quickly, True WDR (120 dB)
optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same
time to provide usable video.
