The PVR164 utilizes standard 4-pair Category UTP cabling as a means of distributing video, power and data for up to 16 cameras. Any third party Class 2 SELV power supply can be used with the PVR164. VB43ATF video, power and data transceivers are required at the camera end. By combining video, power and control for CCTV cameras into one 4-pair Category cable the PVR164 saves installation time. Its compact size saves valuable rack space. The system can also adapt to existing communication and computer network spare pairs or new cable installations. This unit provides superior immunity from noise and interference, even when run in common raceways with AC.
