March Networks’ new Essential Line recorder is a simple, flexible, and high quality IP recorder with all the essential features needed to enhance your security. It is a cost-effective solution that is easy to use, compatible with existing cabling and IP cameras. Available with eight(EL08), 16 (EL16), 24 (EL24) or 32 (EL32) channel licenses included. The R6 Recording Firmware is the powerhouse behind the scenes that enables the efficient recording, storage, and retrieval of video for all of your organization’s cameras and transaction data. A host of advanced features help to insure an easy setup, intuitive health reporting, and a fault-tolerant system.

Key Features:

• High capacity and performance. The recorder supports 8/16/24/32 concurrent connections at 1080p (primary channel) with an aggregate bandwidth of up to TBD based on performance testing, but could be up to 320.

• End-to-end encryption. Prevent potential cybersecurity issues with the highest level of protection for customer data (from camera to recorder to enterprise management system to client software) with cameras supporting RTP/RTSP over HTTPs.
• Embedded, Linux-based, and purpose-built. The customized operating system removes unnecessary services and applications and locks all non-essential network ports, reducing the likelihood of attack.
• Additional feature licensing. Enhance your EL Series recorders with extra licenses, allowing you to expand the channel count by up to 4 on the EL08, EL24 and up to 8 on the EL16. Motion Heat Mapping, is also available with an additional license.
• Configurable recording policies. Record video based on user-definable variables, including schedule, motion, analytics, etc.
• Real-time health monitoring. Be alerted to camera, recorder and network issues within seconds.
• Network policies for bandwidth protection. Maximize system performance with features like max retention settings, multi-sector archiving, and selective video recording.
• Front panel QR code. Use March Networks’ free GURU Smartphone App to scan the recorder’s QR code to check warranty status and serial number.
• Powerful video management software. With March Networks Command™ Enterprise Software, you’ll be equipped with the features and tools you need to easily manage your video surveillance system.
• Cost-effective, essential functionality. The EL Series provides advanced centralized management features and data analytics at a low initial cost. The included integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows you to use your existing cabling infrastructure while saving the cost of a switch.
