The N2D-8RB2 is part of Luminys’s N2 Mainstream series. N2 series devices are designed with a curated selection of technologies and features to provide high-quality security without unnecessary or complicated add-ons. The lens provides clear images and video with a maximum resolution of 8MP. iMD provides vital motion detection alerts for proactive security. With its smart design, this camera is an ideal entry-level camera for small to mid-sized applications.

Key Technologies
Intelligent Motion Detection (iMD) technology accurately detects and filters humans and vehicle in a monitoring area. Using an advanced algorithm, iMD can accurately detect humans and vehicles while reducing false alarms caused by other objects, animals, or lighting. Users can be alerted to iMD events for timely security. iMD events can be saved for future reference and easily searched for at a later time for forensic analysis and to assist in investigations.
Environmental
The camera complies with the IK10 Vandal Resistance impact rating making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 5 kg (11.02 lbs) of force dropped from a height of 40 cm (15.75 in.). Subjected to rigorous dust and water immersion tests and certified to the IP66 Ingress Protection rating makes it suitable for demanding outdoor applications. Supporting dual voltage input (12 VDC or PoE) and a ±10% input voltage tolerance, this camera suits even the most unstable power supply conditions. Its TVS 6000 V lightning rating protects the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning on the camera and its structure.
