IC Realtime - PWR-EPOE-24-V2 - 24 Port Managed ePoE Switch

Our new PWR-EPOE-24-V2 is the latest version of our most advanced 24-port gigabit network switch. Just like the original, the V2 is capable of extended transmission range - up to 2624 feet of data transmission - over 8x the distance of a standard IP switch. The newest V2 version adds additional POE management features while maintaining a system manager’s favorite features to help keep IP cameras up & running.

 ADVANCED MANAGEMENT & 2 HIGH POE PORTS

To accommodate high-draw POE cameras like network PTZs, PWR-EPOE-24-V2 has HI-PoE available on ports 1-2.PWR-EPOE-24-V2’s “orange port” can provide up to 60W for powering high-POE devices like PTZ cameras. And while this Layer-two web-managed network switch is backward compatible with standard PoE, It has a massive Power Over Ethernet budget of 360 watts.

 ADAPTIVE TO COAX & TWISTED PAIR WIRING

Ports 1 thru 8 on the new PWR-EPOE-24-V2 will also support ePOE and Power Over Coax technology for both twisted-pair and coaxial cable transmission using our IVB-E102C and IVB-E202 baluns. ePoE switch supply voltage 53V. This means installers can simplify construction and wiring to re-use existing camera wiring with adaptive PoE and PoC power supply technologies.

 TOUGH & SMART

PWR-EPOE-24-V2 is both desk & rack-mountable and built to industrial standards to withstand harsh environments and wide temperature variations. The unit has multi-level user management and password; protection, and both static discharge and lightning protection built in.

 A SYSTEM MANAGER’S DREAM SWITCH

In addition to supporting tIEEE802.3af and 802.3at standards, Switch stability enhancements include the original’s “PoE Watchdog” which constantly monitors each channel’s POE status to keep it alive. New functions include the ability to keep POE devices powered & functioning during switch management like a web or soft reboot, importing a new configuration, or during a firmware upgrade. Although rarely used for cameras, POE devices can even be scheduled a “green” power on/off port-by-port to save energy if needed.
