The unit incorporates an Intel processor and 8Gb of RAM, four 1000Mbps network interface jacks to handle maximum video traffic, is H.265 & ONVIF 2.4 / CGI compliant, has 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 jacks. EL128's hard drives are front-mounted in slide-in carrels behind the front panel with its built-in operations monitor screen, and it can be set up with RAID 0/1/5/10 and even has an eSATA port if it's 16 hard drives are not enough.

Of course,the EL128 can access any camera-based FlexSmartAi video detection & analytics, including tripwire, intrusion, scene change, and abandoned or missing object detection. The system even supports audio baseline detection. If the audio in a room goes from a normal range to loud & violent, the system can take a snapshot, send an email, or engage an annunciator or alarm device if set to do so.
